As much as I like the idea that the world will be at the edge of their seats waiting eagerly for the next update about my insanely adorable family, there are "slightly" more important things happening in the world and I'm not THAT self absorbed.... :) Honestly, my kids are growing up to fast and I, like many moms, am desperate to hold onto the little moments that get overlooked by the BIG moments!
My blog will not be fancy, but it will be real. I'm a little snarky, a little tough, and a lot passionate about the people in my life. I won't always have popular topics, I can't ALWAYS be full of sunshine because that isn't honest, it isn't me. So who are the Brackel's? Well, here we are:
Aren't we cute?
Sean, "the oldest" is 12, and aspires to be a chef, he is interested in world travel and this thrills me! He is a football player, black belt, tap dancer and takes ballet.
Helen, "the Diva" is 7, as her nickname may suggest, she is into all things involving the spotlight. She dances competitively, is involved in natural pageants, and volunteers locally. As much as she is a "Diva," she
is compassionate.
Elizabeth, "the Peanut" is 6, she takes ballet, cheers, rides horses, and loves art. Liz is her own person, not a follower, she is silly and at 3 ft 5 inches tall she manages to make herself heard!
Alex, "the Soccer Monster" is 5, crazy and energetic are two words for my "baby". Alex plays soccer and loves to have new experiences and eat sushi!
So, that's us! We aren't perfect and our lifestyle isn't for everyone but we love each other and we're a strong family. And that to me, is what family is all about!
