Feeling Craft-tastic Tonight!

So, here's something many people DON'T know about me: I make & sell wreaths. I have a lot of fun doing it & honestly it's what gives me calm in my crazy life! I started making wreaths last April & have sent them all over the US: Hawaii, Pittsburgh, Ohio, Arizona, Texas, New York and several other places~ totally cool knowing people all over are enjoying my creations!

Anyways, so the next holiday is of course.... Martin Luther King Day! However, that's not a big decorating holiday so instead I'm gearing up for Valentines Day! I have made 1 & 3/4's wreaths since Monday! I love them, I updated a photo of the 1st one & will upload the second one tomorrow!

I can't wait to see what directions my wreaths will go in and i am thinking of starting a "crafty" section in the blog... thoughts?

I'm Still Alive!

Hi Everyone!

I have to apologize about my absence lately, my laptop charger died & I have not replaced it yet. Boo!

The Brackel bunch has been super busy!

We had our family photos taken in November.... as super heros! We had a great time & laughed & laughed!

My SUPER Family

Sean has been busy fundraising for a trip to Australia, playing the saxophone & being a crazy 12 year old! 

Helen had her first role as an extra in a new TV show coming out in February, she had a great time filming & I'm excited to see where things go for her from here!

Liz has been doing fantastic in 1st grade, she is loving ballet and all things artistic. Here she is at her Christmas concert:

Alex has been doing really well in school; he has had all GREAT reports since right after Thanksgiving break, he's been working on perfecting his cartwheel and anxiously waiting for the next session of winter soccer!

Hubby still works far away & we still miss him more than I like to admit! He had a good break from work over the holidays & it was great for him to relax & have down time.

I started a new job, the difference between jobs & volunteering is that you are supposed to get paid & unfortunately that became an issue at the last job. I am now a waitress at a SUPER yummy Italian restaurant.   I really like the people, the atmosphere & unfortunately, the food!

So there you have an update; I hope everyone had a wonderful Hanukkah/Christmas/New Years.

Here are my resolutions for 2013:

1. Smile everyday.
2. Help Sean get to Australia.
3. See Italy with Anthony for our anniversary. 
4. Make something "crafty" at least twice a month.
5. Play.... often.
6. Have dates.... with my husband, girlfriends & babies.
7. Give to others.
