Seven~ Spunky, Sweet, Smart & Perfectly Elizabeth

At my house we do birthdays pretty big.... with four littles we do what we can to make each of their days perfect for them. We asked her what she wants for her birthday and her response was she wants a Mommy & Daddy day in NYC! This thrills me~ Daddy is less thrilled with the idea of tea at the American Girl Store and Cinderella on Broadway but he won't disappoint! We are holding off for the trip until next month once school has started back up. Back2School shopping for four is a bit nuts. So to compensate we still did a small party....

Elizabeth had her birthday party on Sunday, it was a Princess party and full of pink, glitter and tutus. Here are a few of my favorite highlights:
She is SEVEN!

Loving our Elizabeth

Party Girls!

The girls all had a blast and danced around in a princess ball, took pictures for a photo shoot, ate pink lemonade cupcakes & had a Princess parade~ with Elizabeth leading the way.

I hope she had a great day~ she is wonderful and silly and sweet. She makes me giggle more than any other person in the world, she is loving and simply put: awesome. I cannot wait to spend a day in NYC with her, she has only been there one other time, it was her birthday last year and we went for lunch but that was it. She instantly loved it and has been asking to go back ever since. it will be great for her to have 2 on 1 time with Anthony & I, it will be great for us too. :)

Gone in the Blink of an Eye

I'm feeling pretty nostalgic tonight so bare that in mind....

Where did our Summer go? The Brackel Bunch managed to get in a few great memories and adventures and for that I'm grateful! I love all things fall but with less than three weeks left until school starts I find myself cursing the tree in my front yard whose leaves have started to change...... Here are some highlights from the Summer fun reel:

Sean had a BLAST on his trip to Australia, he experienced so many new things and enjoyed 18 days in the Outback!

Despite what Sean might believe, the rest of us certainly didn't mope around the house without him! Dad was at work so the littles and I enjoyed some mini adventures of our own!

Fun with Aunt Jen at Robert Treeman State Park

Snuggling.... The best quality time :)

Movies with Aunt Susan

Beach time at Atlantic City

While looking through these photos I've smiled & laughed at the goofy memories each picture reminds me of... the giggles, the jokes, the learning and the friendships. we packed a lot of fun in 18 days and it was perfect, while my fab 4 wasn't complete, my terrific 3 and at times tiny 2 were pretty awesome, I love spending time with them each individually and in their group dynamics. This was 18 days worth of Summer we had many other adventures and wonderful memories :)  while it is hard for me to know my babies will never be this old again, they'll never have this Summer to relive again, I hope as they grow up they look back on Summer 2013 and laugh a little, smile a lot and remember how much love we shared this summer.

Hope you liked our memories-
